Welcome to the Official Website for Some Big Kid

In 2009, inspired by the Angry Video Game Nerd, I dreamed of reviewing retro games myself, but wanted to create something that was uniquely my own, combining my love of animation with gaming. After years of focusing on my career as a filmmaker, I finally took the plunge in 2021, developing the Some Big Kid character and creating my first animated game reviews,

including Space Jam, TMNT, The Mask and DuckTales.

Although I loved making the videos, the channel wasn't growing as quickly as I had hoped, so I began experimenting with different types of content. After trying animated history videos, South Park videos, toy reviews and more, I eventually found an audience that enjoyed a bit of everything.

And that's how Some Big Kid became the channel it is today.
